Just came back from work...tired sia

OK.One thing I would like to share with you.DO NOT!kayak when you see dark clouds and it's drizzling.Seriously,we thought it was just a normal drizzle but when we kayak up straight to the far end of the demarcated area,it was raining heavily.

Raining heavily,no big deal.Well think again. We saw a lighting struck to a tree on an island. We were freaking shock to see it.We tried to paddle as fast as possible to the nearest shore but the weather and the currents was freaking strong and impossible to fight it.Nelson, thought to be the strongest swimmer and paddler didn't managed to paddle as fast.To tired he said.

Second lightning struck and it was damn near us.I was in total panic and had nothing to do but just to get to the shore pronto!.I can't leave my fellow members behind so I went back to them and together we follow the each other and at last,we reached the shore.

Took cover under the nearest shelter which is a toilet and sat there till the weather fades off. When the weather went off smoothly,we went back to our kayaks and paddle straight to the drop off point. Our venture leader was worried about us.

We were lucky this time.If God isn't by our side. You may not know who will end up in the papers for reports of lightning strike.Thank God.
